ODR-CS Custom Special Overdrive

The ODR-C effect pedal is based on my development of the ODR-S from 1993. It based on the ODR-1 but with Germanium diodes and a 3-Band EQ. This is the much improved version, both in the selection of the components and the expanded sound options.

ODR-C 30th Anniversary - Limited Edition

About 30 years ago - in late 1992 - I built the final ODR-1 prototype and released it for series production. On this occasion there is now a small anniversary in the form of a special ODR-C version.

I chose white as the color. More precisely: "Bianco Madreperla". And to celebrate the day with some glitter in it too. The imprint is in gold to match the footswitch.

The edition is just under 200 units.

The campaign has ended - all devices have been sold!

THE ODR-C BLACK EDITION

By popular demand, I now also have a black version in the program. The sound is of course unchanged! If you have always found the green to be too intrusive and too obvious: Here is a slightly less conspicuous version with which you can be optically incognito.

My current project "ODR-C"

is the ultimate update of the ODR-1 effect pedal, developed by me in the early 90s, which has been established in the USA/Nashville scene for years.

For years, I wanted to make various improvements to bring the pedal both the sound and the quality to the next level.

I corrected a few youthful sins in the technical design - without changing the sound. In addition, I have installed the following controls:

• Lo-Cut: to reduce the bass frequencies
• Mid: center control
• O.D.C.: (Overdrive De-Compress) to decompress the overdrive-stage
• LED brightness: (inside!) To adjust the brightness

The ODR-C is also suitable for battery operation - although I do not really recommend it. And so we are already at the new name: It is called ODR-C, C like Custom and is soldered by hand, assembled and of course checked by me!
